Faranani Voice Solutions can now provide clients spending more than R3000 per site per month on their current voice usage (ie. local, long distance, international and Mobile calls) a high quality, low cost solution using on net calls (VoiP). Savings vary on average between 35% on local calls to 41% on international calls.
How do we do this?
This is done using a VOIP gateway.
What is a VOIP gateway and how does it work?
VoIP Gateways which are also known as Media Gateways, sit between the Digital IP Networks and the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). VoIP Gateways are a central component of most VoIP networks because they allow calls to be exchanged with the PSTN network.
The Faranani Voice Solution is a non-invasive solution, which doesn't require any changes to your current pabx infrastructure. A dedicated ADSL line is added which plugs into the voip gateway Router which then plugs into the PABX. The voip router is pre-configured and installed at the client site with minimal disruption. The solution can be up and running within about 15 minutes. In addition, the solution provides our clients with redundant connectivity.
The advantage of this solution is two fold. First the VoIP Gateways allow you to place calls using internet telephony and secondly, it allow the use of all existing use of existing analog equipment (phones, faxes, and legacy PBX).
VoIP Gateways are also used to provide PSTN Fallback. PSTN Fallback is a backup method which if the ITSP service fails, the VoIP Gateway insures continued access to the PSTN until IP Network Service is restored.
